The B&D Service division of B&D Industrial provides valuable equipment repair, maintenance outsourcing solutions and training to help your plant run more efficiently, reduce your downtime and increase your bottom line. Gearbox Remanufacturing

B&D Service dominates the gearbox repair market in the Southeast. Since 1988, we have been saving customers 40-50% or more by supplying remanufactured speed reducers as an alternative to new. All of our boxes come with a warranty and can even be installed, tested, and maintained by our crews.

B&D Service is an authorized IG Rebuild Center for Eurodrive gearboxes as well as an approved rebuild facility for SPX-Marley cooling tower gearboxes. Other brands we rebuild include (but are not limited to):

Machine Shop

Supporting our reducer rebuilds, we have an in-house machine shop capable of boring parts up to 54" in diameter and turning parts up to 54" in diameter by 14 feet long. We also have a horizontal boring mill for align boring of large reducer housings, and a vertical and horizontal Bridgeport milling machine for profile milling. We have several full-time machinists with many years of experience, which means we are able to respond quickly and expertly to any machine work you may need.

All gear shop, field and fabrication service employees are MSHA/OSHA certified.

Field and Fabrication Services

• PM Inspections: agitators, bearings, couplings, fans, gear trains, pulpers, and universal drive shafts
• Paper Machine Inspections
