B&D Service provides valuable equipment repair, maintenance outsourcing
solutions, and training to help your plant run more efficiently, reduce your
downtime, and increase your bottom line. B&D Service is organized
to support clients across all industry segments. We are able to handle
most any emergency situation, with expertise and in record time.
Gearbox Repair
B&D Service repairs and refurbishes speed reducers, often for about 60%
of the cost of buying a new one. All of our work comes with a full warranty,
and we can even install and maintain your reducer once it’s repaired.
We have factory-trained technicians available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
365 days a year who are dedicated to quality and service. These experienced
technicians know all the brands and stand ready to do what it takes to minimize
your downtime.
B&D Service is an authorized IG Repair Center for Eurodrive gearboxes
as well as an approved repair facility for SPX-Marley cooling tower gearboxes.

In addition to gearboxes, we repair vacuum pumps, hammer mills, blowers, screens,
trunnions, chippers, kilns and rotary airlock feeders.
Machine Shop
Supporting our reducer repair, we have an in-house machine shop capable of
boring parts up to 54” in diameter and turning parts up to 54” in
diameter by 14 feet long. We also have a horizontal boring mill for
align boring of large reducer housings, and a vertical and horizontal Bridgeport
milling machine for profile milling. We have several full-time machinists
with many years of experience, which means we are able to respond quickly
and expertly to any machine work you may need.

Surplus and Reconditioned Inventory
We have over 40,000 square feet of used and reconditioned reducers and
parts in stock, with many brands represented.
B&D Service is a great resource for procuring those obsolete or hard-to-find
gear boxes. |

Fabrication Services
- PM Inspections, trouble shooting and in-field repairs of your existing
conveyors: belt conveyors, slat conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket
elevators, live roller conveyor
- Upgrade, refurbish or retro-fit existing conveyors to customer specifications
- Fabricate specialty screws/standard screws
- Fabricate: base plates, custom shafts, guards, slide gates, hoppers
- Rebuild conveyor pulleys to include lagging
- Rebuild machine drive shafts
- Rebuild machine agitators
- Fabricate new or rebuild fans: supply, recycle, exhaust, and combustion
- Kiln work: trunnion repair, main drive upgrade and repair, bull gear
and pinion replacement, optical profile
- CAD services available.
We have mechnical engineers on staff. All gear shop, field and fabrication
service employees are MSHA/OSHA certified.
